My Career

Advance Education, Inc., New York, NY 4/2023 – Present

Advance Education (AE) was created to provide a way for school districts to make sense of all the students support purchased by the district and available throughout the city and community so that parents are able to support learning and development for their children, more effectively, beyond the classroom.

Advance Education collaborates with each district to conduct a needs assessment, set goals for a three-year implementation plan, and identify opportunities to fund the initiative through federal programs, the city, and local and national philanthropies.

The goal of Advance Education is to work with the district to provide support to families in building a comprehensive plan for student success beyond the classroom.  The supports are designed to enhance performance in school by identifying a lattice of supports to build persistence, belonging, love of learning, academic growth, and self-determination and to help children thrive throughout their learning and development process.
